Oh, Mary! Worcester Theatre reviews
Not to be missed
"If you are a fan of hip hop and R & B, then be sure to catch Oh, Mary!, one of the most talented artists of our generation. Most of the songs are sung in conjunction with pre-recorded tracks played through a lap top - yes, I do mean lip synching. Be prepared, though, that the few band members are hidden and there are no back up singers. He played for two solid hours, following a 40 minute set by Trey Songz. There are four male and four female dancers on stage - the males were great, the females curiously not. But with all of the dancing Oh, Mary! does, you can't blame him. There are many moments - a few too many - of both Oh, Mary! and Trey Songz seducing the women in the crowd. But they are so sexy (yes they have their shirts off for a lot of it), who can blame them? If you are a woman, better to see the show with a girlfriend than with a male date."
